The Story : April Fool movie tells the hilarious events created by his friends, in the life of high profile businessman Rakesh Menon (Siddique).

The story centers around Rakesh Menon. Rakesh, who is a high profile businessman finds his life in a mess on a fine day, after the intervention of a couple of friends.

Viji Tamby’s 27th film April Fool hiting kerala theaters today on the 1st April.Jagadeesh wrote the script for this comedy movie. April Fool is Produced by Santosh Damodar Under the Banner Damor Cinema and released by Damor Cinema release. Lyrics by Late Gireesh Puthencheri and music by M. Jayachandran.

Director Viji Thamby has rechristened his new movie in the scripts of actor Jagadheesh. Earlier titled as ‘Ladies And Gentleman’, this movie will be now titled as ‘April Fool’. The movie tells the hilarious events created by his friends, in the life of high profile businessman Rakesh Menon, played by Siddique. Jagadheesh, Biju Menon and Jagathy will appear as the friend of Siddique in the movie.

‘April Fool’ will also introduce a Bangalore based model ‘Nayana’ as the heroine. Produced by Santhosh Damodharan and Ajayachandran Nair in the banner of Eye max entertainments, the movie will also feature Indrans, K P A C Lalitha, Manoj K Jayan, Maniyanpillai Raju and Mydhili in other notable roles. Gireesh Puthenchery and M Jayachandran will handle the music section while Sanjeev Shankar will be in charge of the camera. ‘April Fool’ whose shooting is already at full swing at the Chitranjali studios in Thiruvananthapuram, is expected to reach the theatres as a Christmas release.

Director Viji Thampy will be back with 'April Fool' on the 1st of April. The director, who had last directed 'Chemystery', would be wielding the megaphone for the 27th time for 'April Fool'.

'April Fool' tells a story that centers around Rakesh Menon. Rakesh, who is a high profile businessman finds his life in a mess on a fine day, after the intervention of a couple of friends.

Siddiq would be essaying the role of Rakesh Menon, while Jagadheesh, Biju Menon and Jagathy would appear as his friends in the film. Bangalore model Nayana plays the female lead in the film. K P A C Lalitha, Manoj K Jayan, Maniyanpillai Raju, Indrans, Kaveri and Maidhili are also a part of the cast.

'April Fool' is expected to be a roller coaster ride of entertainment and heavily depends on comedy to keep things going. Vijy Thampy has directed several films with Siddiq and Jagadeesh several years back, and hopes to recreate the magic of those years once again with 'April Fool'.

The cinematography is by Sanjeev Shankar. M Jayachandran has set to tune the lyrics penned by the late lyricist Gireesh Puthencherry.

April fool has been produced by Santosh Damodar, under the banner of Damor cinema. The film is a Damor cinema release.
